🧥✨ Winter Hoodie Course

Course — Summary

This 5-week structured course is designed to guide students step-by-step through the complete process of drafting, cutting and sewing a comfortable winter hoodie using stretch and knit fabrics.

Suitable for Beginner to Improver level learners, the course focuses on building genuine garment construction skills — not just completing a project. Students will develop confidence in taking body measurements, drafting hoodie pattern pieces, working with bulky winter fabrics, and using professional sewing techniques for knit garments.

Throughout the course, learners will understand important concepts such as ease allowance for comfort wear, fabric stretch direction, hood construction methods, ribbing attachment, pocket placement, and finishing techniques. Practical sessions ensure students gain hands-on experience with fabric layout, cutting accuracy, stretch stitching and fit adjustments.

By the end of the program, each participant will complete one fully wearable winter hoodie and gain the technical knowledge required to confidently recreate the garment independently, adapt the design, and continue exploring winter knitwear sewing projects.

This course provides a strong foundation for anyone wishing to expand their skills in casual garment sewing, knit fabric handling and practical pattern drafting.
