After a little well-deserved Mumma break, my tie-dye bottles are finally coming back out, the rubber bands are ready for action, and one of my most colourful services is making its return!

Because dye behaves differently depending on fibre composition, I'll need to check that your item is suitable before accepting it.
Natural cellulose fibres such as cotton generally give the most vibrant results.

Suitable fabric can also be custom tie-dyed for your own sewing or creative project.
And depending on the project, we can even talk about taking that hand-dyed fabric one step further and turning it into something special.

Custom tie-dye isn't mass production.
Your item is individually prepared, tied, dyed, cured, rinsed, washed, finished and checked by me.
That also means handmade dyeing has a wonderfully unpredictable side.
Colours blend.
Patterns move.
One section may develop differently from another.
And occasionally the dye decides it has its own artistic vision. π
While I'll work towards your chosen colours and design style, an exact pattern or identical reproduction cannot be guaranteed.
Every piece is genuinely one of a kind.

If you're bringing an item for me to dye, please don't race out and buy something specifically for the project before checking with me.
Fabric composition matters enormously.
Some fibres love dye.
Some tolerate it.
And some look at beautiful fibre-reactive dye and basically say:
βNo thank you.β π
Send me the garment details or fibre composition first and I'll help determine whether it's suitable.
