Do you have a loved one's favourite shirt, baby clothes, school uniform, wedding dress or another special garment tucked away because you can't bear to part with it?

In this gentle, supportive course, you'll learn how to transform those precious memories into a handcrafted Memory Bear that can be treasured for years to come.

No experience is necessary. Every student receives step-by-step guidance in a relaxed, small-group environment.

What You'll Learn.....

Week 1 – Planning & Preparing

• Understanding Memory Bear construction
• Choosing suitable keepsake fabrics
• Preparing sentimental garments
• Stabilising delicate fabrics
• Cutting out the pattern accurately
• Organising all pieces ready for sewing

Week 2 – Sewing the Bear

• Correct sewing order
• Curved seam techniques
• Attaching arms and legs
• Matching seams
• Creating a professional finish

Week 3 – Stuffing & Assembly

• Turning and shaping
• Correct stuffing techniques
• Joint placement
• Hand sewing openings closed
• Creating a beautifully balanced bear

Week 4 – Finishing Touches

• Embroidery basics
• Adding safety eyes or embroidered eyes
• Nose finishing techniques
• Decorative touches
• Final inspection and presentation

Students leave with their own completed Memory Bear and the confidence to create many more.
