Want to learn to sew a perfect apron for the kitchen, craft room, garden, or to gift someone!

Join me for a fun and friendly sewing workshop where you will create your very own handmade apron. This project is ideal for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their sewing skills.

★★ Please Note: This in NOT just a.... "layout a commercial pattern, cut and sew" kind of a class.★★

You will be shown how to draft your own apron, layout the pattern pieces, fabric layout & cutting and sewing.

Why depend on commercial or downloaded sewing pattern when you can learn to make your own. This knowledge remains a lifetime!

Choose from a variety of quilting fabrics to match your style — classic, modern, or whimsical!

Sewing machines are available to borrow if you don’t have your own. By the end of class, you will leave with a finished apron and the confidence to tackle more sewing projects at home.

Finished Size: One size fits most - 25″ Wide x 35″ Long

Supplies you will need to bring:

1.25 mts quilting weight fabric for apron front and pocket lining
1.25 mts quilting weight fabric for apron back and ties

Sewing tools:

A pack of Sewing machine needles
Threads and filled in bobbin
Scissors
Dressmakers pins
Dressmakers chalk
Tape measure
Seam rippers or a Snipper
A bottle of water.

★ NO Rotary cutter allowed.★

If you would like a custom apron pattern drafted for you to take home after this workshop, please bring packaging / butcher's paper. (This can be found in Officeworks or Bunnings)
