Sewing Sessions for Retired Seniors

Fun Sewing Sessions for Retired Senior Citizens is a Community Charm at Lyndaz!
Know a Senior Citizen who has always wanted to learn to sew but never had the opportunity to give it a try? Share this with them!

These sessions are designed specifically for our Retired Senior Citizens only.

At each session members will work on simple projects that they can take home. Each member can attend only one session per activity so I can give all members an opportunity to attend.
I do conduct other crafty sessions like this for the seniors through the year.

NO machines or equipment needed, members will be provided with machines as well as all the equipments and materials needed.
NO sewing terminology will be used to make it more fun and relaxed.
NO cost involved at all.
NO Gold coin donations either.

These sessions are purely help those who always wanted to give sewing a go but never got to it. These are open to females and males.

All you need to bring along is yourself – sew and meet other Seniors making new friends.

Criteria : Strictly for retired and non-working Senior Citizens ONLY. No tag-alongs members attending please. If dropping off your loved ones, you will be requested to drop off and wait in your car until completed.

Day: First Friday of each month
Next available: October 3rd, 2025.
Time: 5pm to 7pm
Location: Rooty Hill
Max: 8 members

What's provided....

Sewing machines, all equipments and fabrics.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits provided.

This is  my little way of giving back to the community.

Please note: Each session I can take in 5 to maximum of 8 members only. The following session the next members in my waitlist will be invited to come in.

All projects will be very simple and beginner friendly. Worried about threading the sewing machine needle? It will be threaded for members attending 🙂
Please don't bring any alterations or any of your sewing tasks to be done during these sessions.
