Designed for children aged 5–12 years, this beginner-friendly course encourages young artists to explore colour, experiment with painting techniques and develop confidence in expressing their creativity.

Through patient, step-by-step guidance, children will learn how to transform their ideas into beautiful canvas artwork they can proudly display at home.

No previous painting experience is necessary!

Understanding and mixing primary and secondary colours.

Creating different colours, shades and tones.

Using various paintbrushes and brushstroke techniques.

Week 1 — Colour Mixing & Backgrounds

Discover the magic of colour! Learn to mix colours, explore different shades and create colourful painted backgrounds.

Week 2 — Shapes & Brushwork

Experiment with different paintbrushes and techniques while learning to paint simple shapes, objects and subjects.

Week 3 — Details & Textures

Develop your painting skills by exploring layering, highlighting, textures and fine details.

Week 4 — My Canvas Masterpiece

Bring your new skills together! Plan and paint a larger canvas artwork, adding personal touches and finishing details to create a masterpiece to take home.

Small practice canvas or canvas board

One larger canvas for the final project

Water-based acrylic paints in assorted colours

Assorted paintbrushes (small, medium and large)

Paint palette or mixing tray

Water container for rinsing brushes

Additional Essentials

Protective painting apron

Important: Course fees do not include materials. Parents and carers are requested to organise the complete supply list before their child's first session.
