Children may experiment with different colours, leaf sizes and arrangements.
Skills: Leaf observation, paint application, printing and composition.
Finished project: Colourful botanical art print.
WEEK 2 — FLOWER & PETAL PRINTING
Project: My Floral Greeting Card Collection

Using prepared flowers, petals and child-appropriate paints, learners will create decorative impressions on folded cardstock.
They will experiment with repeated floral shapes and colour combinations.
Each child will create two greeting cards featuring their own botanical designs.
Skills: Floral printing, pattern arrangement, colour selection and card design.
Finished project: Set of two floral greeting cards.
WEEK 3 — BOTANICAL PATTERN STUDIO

They will explore spacing, direction, colour repetition and pattern balance.
Skills: Repeated printing, pattern recognition, spacing and decorative design.
Finished project: Handmade botanical wrapping paper.
WEEK 4 — MY NATURE PRINT MASTERPIECE
Project: My Personalised Botanical Canvas Artwork
For their final creative adventure, children become botanical print artists!
Using techniques learned throughout the course, learners will plan and create a personalised botanical composition on a small canvas panel.
They can combine leaf impressions, floral prints, colour layering and decorative details.
Children will explore how different shapes and textures work together to create a balanced design.
Skills: Creative planning, combining printing techniques, composition and personalisation.
