Celebrate your child’s birthday or special occasion with one of our popular children’s sewing parties!

Have a party with a difference, where all the children not only have fun and learn new skills, but they also get to leave feeling super proud of their handmade creations.

We start by familiarising them with the sewing machines, where they have fun taking their sewing machine driving test (everyone passes with practice!) and then we make the party project.

We focus on making sewing accessible, safe, and enjoyable! The children are always supervised, and our sewing machines are all speed controlled so they can take things nice and slowly and any pressing is done by the educator.

This is suitable for children and adults birthday sewing parties.

What is Included:

• Choice of one of the projects from above (To be selected at booking)
• 2 hours of sewing
• All equipment, materials and tools required to make their chosen project. Each child will leave with a creation they have made themselves.
• 30 mins allotted for refreshments provided by the party.
• Party of 10 total (Extra $60 for additional instructor required for groups of 10 or more) Note: All guests must be 8+
• Extra $45 per additional guest after 10
• Extra time is available for $50 per 30 mins.
• All fabrics and supplies included.
• Yummy cupcake for every child (for when the sewing has finished!)

Non-refundable deposit: $150
Remaining payment is required to be made upfront no later than one week prior to party date.

This is a lovely event or birthday celebration, where children take home their special creation along with a "Sewing machine driver license" certificate.

Party policy

Deposit: All parties/group events require a non-refundable $150 deposit to reserve the date and timing. The balance is due one week before the day of your party or event.

Cancellations....

Inclement Weather Cancellations: Should a party or event need to be cancelled due to inclement weather or other force majeure a refund will be made in full within 10 business days.

If You Cancel: Birthday party or special event cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Date Transfers: I require three weeks advance notice for any date or time changes. I will do my best to accommodate your revised date based on availability provided your new date is within three months of the original date.

Pricing: My sewing parties are priced by package and does come with an extra fee for an additional member. I will contact you the Wednesday prior to your party/ event to obtain a final guest count; this is the number I will use when determining your balance. You will be charged for any extra guests who may not have rsvp’d.

Guest Count: Please be as accurate as possible when determining your guest count. I may or may not be able to accommodate a guest increase of more than 10 participants.

Birthday parties are typically drop off events (with the exception of the birthday child's immediate family).
