My Introduction to Sewing Course is a beginner-friendly, hands-on program designed to take you from complete beginner to a confident new sewer.

Held in my welcoming Rooty Hill studio, this course introduces essential sewing skills, sewing machine operation, fabric preparation, pattern understanding and simple garment construction in a relaxed, patient and supportive learning environment.

Whether your dream is to sew your own clothes, create beautiful handmade gifts or begin your dressmaking journey, this course gives you the foundations to get started.

Working rotating shifts, FIFO rosters or unpredictable hours?

Arrange your sessions around your availability rather than committing to the same day every week.

Ideal for FIFO workers, shift workers and students with changing schedules.

Please Note: All learning frequencies cover the same four-session course. The course content, total teaching hours and standard course fee remain the same. Only the attendance schedule changes.

Intensive, FIFO and individually arranged bookings must be confirmed with me before attending. Selecting a preferred day or time does not automatically reserve multiple future sessions.

💳 Flexible Payment Options – Choose What Suits You

To make learning more manageable, I offer two payment arrangements.

💜 Option 1 – Pay Per Session | $82

Pay $82 for each two-hour session you book.

This means you don't need to pay the entire course fee upfront.

For example:

• Session 1 – $82

• Session 2 – $82

• Session 3 – $82

• Session 4 – $82

Total Course Investment: $328

This option is suitable for weekly, fortnightly, monthly, intensive and FIFO learners.

Payment for each session must be received at least three days before the confirmed class date.

Important: Paying $82 covers one two-hour session, not the entire four-session course. Further sessions must be booked and paid for separately.

Afterpay is NOT available for individual session payments.

💜 Option 2 – Pay Upfront – Full Course | $328

Prefer to pay for the entire course in one payment?

Pay $328 upfront to cover all four two-hour sessions.

Your four sessions can be scheduled according to your selected learning frequency, subject to availability.

This option is ideal for students who prefer to organise their course payment in advance.

Afterpay is available for eligible full-course payments only, subject to checkout availability and Afterpay approval.

Important: Paying upfront covers four sessions, but does not automatically confirm the dates of all four classes. Your attendance schedule must be arranged and confirmed.

What's the Difference Between Learning Frequency and Payment Options?

Learning Frequency determines how often you attend your classes.

Payment Options determines how you pay for your classes.

For example, you can attend fortnightly and pay $82 before each session, or attend fortnightly after paying the full $328 course fee upfront.

Both arrangements cover the same course.

👖 Project 3 – Pyjama Pants Set

Create your own comfortable pyjama shorts with either an elastic waist or ribbon drawstring, plus a simple top.

✔ Drawstring options

This project helps you transition into beginner garment making.
